How to arrange non whole printed book posts

maybe we pay attention to the number of page numbers of a book, its format, folding method and its book forming process, but seldom think about how many full sheets of paper it is composed of and how to arrange its page numbers. When you think about it, determining the page number of a book is related to printing, which is the premise of the whole process arrangement. With it, we can know how to print, confirm the technical status and accuracy of the experimental machine according to the difference of the comparison value, bind and complete the book

as we know, one printing on one side of the whole paper or one printing on both sides of the split paper is one printing sheet. A book is composed of multiple printing sheets, and one printing sheet can print multiple page numbers according to different formats. If a printed sheet is printed with 8 page numbers, and if the number of words in the book content is arranged to 64 (multiple of 8), it just needs 8 whole printed sheets, which is a perfect condition. There are thousands of books in real life, and the page numbers are not all so coincidental, that is to say, there are incomplete printed pages that cannot be filled. In the above example, if the content of the book is only 60 pages, how to arrange it? Do you want to discard the last 4 pages and leave them blank? Under normal conditions, we seldom find double-sided blank pages in books! Therefore, we are facing an urgent problem to be solved: how to arrange the blank page book post and set the page number

how to arrange books with double-sided white pages

the following is an example of a 32 folio offset press, vertical cross folding, and binding book

(1) if the page number of the book is exactly a multiple of 32, such as 128 pages and 256 pages, it is easy to arrange the page number directly according to the above page number

(2) if the book has 33 pages of words, except for 32 pages of the whole printed sheet, the film of the remaining page 33 is processed independently and pasted onto the large film for re exposure. In the actual process, it is generally only spliced to 8 Kai (i.e. 0.25 printed sheet), rather than 16 copies as the whole printed sheet. Then the whole folio is covered and exposed for 4 times. If there are words on page 34, it is the same as page 33, but there are words on the back, that is to say, the situation of odd and even pages is the same

(3) if the book has 42 Pages of words. Remove the 32 pages of the whole sheet and the remaining 10 codes

10 32=0.3125

if it is spelled as 33 pages, the remaining 3 white pages (6 pages) cannot be taken by the electro-hydraulic servo material testing machine. At this time, you need to add white pages into 12 codes

12 32=0.375

then spell 0.25 printed sheets, that is, 8 pages

0.25 32=8

0 25=0.125

the remaining 0.125 pages

0.125 32=4

print the last 4 pages (including a double-sided white page)

that is, 1 ~ 32 pages are on one page, 33 ~ 40 pages are on the other, 41 ~ 42 Pages and a white page are on the third page. Finally, it is printed separately, and then pasted, set or inserted

(4) if the book has 50 pages of words, the same as the above principle, there are 18 pages except for 32 pages of full printed sheets, of which 16 pages are printed with 0.5 sheets. Two exposures show that the tension of the whole print on the hair bundle is ≥ 8N, the bending resistance of the handle of the adult toothbrush is ≥ 80N, or the deformation limit range is endless. Because the contents of the page are repeated once, one PS version can print two copies of the book. For the principle of the remaining 2 pages, see the analysis of page 33 in (2)

therefore, the typesetting of non whole printed books is essentially a step-by-step rounding idea. Of course, if you want to forcibly violate it, for example, it will take a lot of time for all single yards to use 16 identical films to fill the whole printed sheet

another thing to note is that in actual production, in order to ensure that pages do not fall off, non whole printed sheets and single sheets are usually bound in the whole printed sheet, that is to say, a whole printed sheet is not a continuous page number (1 ~ 32), but a page number separated by an area is reserved for a single code insert

of course, some people will say that these special page numbers can be avoided by other special folding methods, such as parallel folding and mixed folding. Take a kind of wrap around fold of parallel compromise as an example. It is required to clamp the first folded paper edge in the middle according to the page number sequence. It is commonly used in 6 pages? 10 pages. Hybrid folding is a folding method with both parallel folding and vertical cross folding, as well as both turning and rolling folding. It is commonly used in 6-page, 9-Page and duplex folding. Admittedly, the idea is correct, but for an enterprise, its folding process and equipment are fixed for a period of time, and no one is willing to see the book with special page number requirements. Once it happens, the equipment is inherently unchanged, and the people, ideas and processes are flexible, so we have to adjust the process according to the machine. It is necessary to use the blank and spoke page book page number arrangement described above
